CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE

SPRINKLING REINDEER FOOD
a Riddle Christmas Eve Tradition

SANTA GOT COOKIES AND CHOCOLATE MILK AND THE REINDEER GOT AN APPLE
Cyrie says that we need to go get our presents cuz Santa is a busy man.

SANTA'S A BUSY MAN!
When we were on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's we were driving at night, and in the middle of no where off in the distance, in a vacant field appeared a factory. It was all lit up with lights everywhere with smoke bellowing out of the top of it. I said, "Cyrie look! what is that?" She replied, "Is it a Castle?" I proceeded to tell her that it was Santa's Workshop. Her eyes lit up and she got a huge smile on her face as only an Innocent 3 year old can have and said,"Dad pull over we need to go there!" I told her that Santa was busy making toys and that if she watched close Santa's Castle would disappear right before her eyes. As we drove by, the shadow of the mountain slowly covered the factory from left to right until it was gone and all that was left was darkness. MAGIC!
I'm pretty sure that Cambria even bought it! It was the highlight of Christmas this year and so every time we talked about Santa Cyrie would pipe up that "He is a busy man!"

THE SEARCH IS ON

CARSON WOKE UP THIS CHRISTMAS MORNING TO NOTHING BUT AN ENVELOPE WITH A LETTER FROM SANTA.
HE HAD TO GO ON A TREASURE HUNT FOR HIS SANTA GIFT!

FOR THE BOY WHO SAYS " I HEAR EVERYTHING ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT!", HE
WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED THAT HIS SANTA GIFT WAS RIGHT UNDER
HIS OWN BED!

HE HAS BEEN ASKING FOR A PLAYSTATION 3 FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS, GUESS HE WAS A GOOD BOY THIS LAST YEAR!

LIFE ACCORDING TO CAMBRIA:
Aaron gave us gifts for Christmas and told us not to open them until Christmas day. That about killed the kids especially Cambria. She would hold them and shake them every day. One day she said, "Mom, I'm pretty sure that Aaron gave us French Fries!" Wanting to know just how she came to that brilliant conclusion, I asked how she knew that. Her response is classic Cambria, "The box is shaped just like a french fry box, and when I shake it it sounds like French Fries." Just for giggles, I asked her if it smelled like French Fries.
"Mom, he's smarter than that! I'm sure he put perfume on it!"
WOW!

CHRISTMAS CHAOS, WRAPPING PAPER, BOXES, AND FUN!

WE HAVE TRULY BEEN BLESSED THIS PAST YEAR.
IT WAS SO FUN TO HEAR FROM FRIENDS, SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY, AND
ENJOY BEING HEALTHY AND HAPPY!
WE WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HOPE YOUR NEW YEAR IS A HAPPY ONE!

SLEDDING AT GRANDMA SCOTT'S

Cyrie sledding with Uncle Nate.
She wouldn't take her Dora hat and gloves off for days.

HOLD ON HOLD ON

On the return home from Ogden, we were dropping down into St. George and Cambria stated very loudly from the back seat, "MOM, IT SOUNDS LIKE I'M IN A BOX! CAN YOU HEAR ME!" (Loud and Clear)
"HEY MOM! IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE I'M IN A BOX!"
(Um, Heard Ya!)
I gave her some Magic gum and miraculously she was cured. Go Figure!
